Warnock on God

It is uplifting and also exasperating when a newspaper columnist comes up with a point which one is trying hard to get across oneself: uplifting because you see that a personaggio is, were they to know it, agreeing with you; exasperating because they put in a way so much better than you can achieve. Mary Warnock’s piece in the Observer of 5 September 2010 uses only two or three dozen words to spell out why all the science versus religion debaters, including Professor Stephen Hawking, have got in wrong about ‘God’.  This is want I have been trying to say.  But she puts it so much better.
